CK 2020 Special Awards

Carmel Klavier scholarships:
All finalists will be awarded with music scholarships, totaling $25,000

Carmel Klavier Winners Concert:
Selected finalists will have an opportunity to perform solos, duets and ensembles at the Palladium stage in Carmel.

Elena Cobb Star Prize event:
selected winners of Contemporary Composers category, who perform the compositions of Elena Cobb’s Publishing House composers will be invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London (England).

GARA GARAYEV Award of Excellence Certificate and Monetary Prize:
Azerbaijan-American Music Foundation Presents GARA GARAYEV Award of Excellence Certificate and Monetary Prize in Recognition of the Outstanding Performance and Commitment to Music.

Clavis International Piano Competition:
up to four selected Carmel Klavier winners will be invited to compete at the Clavis competition and/or to perform in the concert hall of one of the central palaces of St. Petersburg, Russia in October 2019.

China-ASEAN Art College Scholarship:
a full scholarship offered to a
selected winner from the Advanced category of Carmel Klavier competition. The scholarship covers full tuition for the Bachelor’s degree program in piano performance. Free accommodation, insurance and a monthly stipend for living expenses are included.

USA University Scholarship:
Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana offers $16,000 music scholarship to a selected Carmel Klavier finalist from the Advanced category upon admission as a music major.

Special Award of Max-Rill Gymnasium in Reichersbeuern, Bavaria:
Two of the CK winners will be awarded free of charge participation in the 1 week long Piano Festival and Competition in June 2020 with accommodations, meals and participation in all the events of the festival included.

Costa Rica Piano Festival:
Winners from each category will receive a scholarship toward the festival and competition in Costa Rica on July 11-20 of 2020. For more information check out their website:

International Camp Scholarship:
International Talent Academy, Carmel, IN is sponsoring 10 Carmel Klavier qualified finalists (ages 11-16) to participate at the International Festival in Russia and represent team USA and Carmel Klavier International team in this World’s largest award-winning 3-week camp in July, 2021. The scholarship includes: 3-week camp accommodations, lodging, meals, and local transportation. 

Brooklyn Music Teacher’s Guild Grand Prize Exchange Program 

The winner of Carmel Klavier International Competition’s Alexander Peskanov Piano Concerto Award, will be performing with the BMTG Chamber Orchestra on November 22, 2020, at Carnegie Weill Hall. The Grand Prize winner of BMTG’s Piano Competition 2020 Piano Trio Award, will be performing at the Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition’s 2021 Gala Concert. The duration of the performance will be determined by the BMTG Competition Committee.
