Carmel Klavier 2018 SPECIAL AWARDS

 

  1. Carmel Klavier scholarships: all finalists will be awarded with music scholarships, totaling $20,000

 

  1. Carmel Klavier Winners Concert: selected finalists will have an opportunity to perform solos, concertos, duets, ensembles and the pieces of featured composers on the prestigious Palladium stage in Carmel.

 

  1. Special Awards: Alexey Sokolov – $500, Dr. Connie B. Lee – $1000, Elena Cobb – $750, Gara Garayev -$750, Jeanne Book – $500.

 

  1. Elena Cobb Star Prize event: several winners will be invited to have their solo performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London (England) on April 4, 2019. This award is presented by an English composer Elena Cobb as a Special Jury Award for the second year. Seven Carmel Klavier 2017 participants performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 2018.

 

  1. Clavis International Piano Competition: two Carmel Klavier winners will be invited to have their solo performance in the concert hall of one of the central palaces of St. Petersburg, Russia in October, 2018.

 

  1. China-ASEAN Art College Scholarship: a full scholarship offered to one of the winners from the Advanced category of Carmel Klavier competition. The scholarship covers full tuition for the Bachelor’s degree program in piano performance. Free accommodation, insurance and a monthly stipend for living expenses are included.

 

  1. USA University Scholarship:Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana offers $16,000 music scholarship to a selected Carmel Klavier finalist from the Advanced category upon admission as a music major.

 

  1. International Camp Scholarship: International Talent Academy, Carmel, IN is sponsoring 10 Carmel Klavier winners (ages 10-17) to participate at the International Arts Festival in Russia and represent team USA and Carmel Klavier International team in this World’s largest award-winning 3-week camp in July, 2019. International press is invited to visit, take interviews and participate at the press-conference.
